Nautickle 2024 Season (Austin)

Every summer since 2017 the sapphics of Austin have gathered for Nautickle, lesbian boat party. It’s the best way to spend a Sunday Funday if you’re a queer woman in central Texas. This season, we hosted eight cruises with Beach Front Boat Rentals on Lake Travis. We kicked off our season on Cinco de Mayo with Faye’s homemade margaritas and an incredible group of queers. We made so many new friends and couldn’t wait to sail with them again.

In June, we hosted two events for PRIDE month on the 2nd and 23rd. The collaborative playlist curated by our attendees had us dancing to gay anthems and summer hits from every genre.

Once that boat leaves the dock those tops come off. Out on the lake, it’s toptional. On our private party barge we cruised the lake in style and enjoyed a refreshing swim in these beautiful waters. Making new friends and finding our summer flings makes the hours go by so fast.

We didn’t always get sunny skies at Nautickle but that Texas heat kept us ready to make waves. You knew the party had begun when our strings come undone. Tops are always optional at our women’s only cruises.

Our August 4th party might win wildest of the season when an unexpected summer thunderstorm had us held up under the deck. Luckily, we had the best company and crew to get us through that crazy Texas weather. Shout out to the amazing folks at Beach Front Boat Rentals and our incredible Captain Brittany aka Sugar Tits who came out to steer us all summer despite having an expectant wife at home.
